In the early 1990’s a grant agreement from the Alaska Science and Technology Foundation was awarded to F/V China Cove, Inc. to conduct a Terminal Area Troll Chinook Harvest Study.  The attached document is the “Final Report to the Fleet – 1992”.  This study may be of particular interest, given SSRAA has re-permitted the remote release site in Carroll Inlet near Falls Creek to release up to 600,000 chinook smolt on an annual basis.  The release will commence spring 2016 with a release of approximately 400,000 chinook smolt.
