The return at Kendrick Bay is expected to be about 298,000 chum salmon.  Kendrick Bay terminal harvest area is designed for purse seiners and trollers.  Kendrick Bay will open June 15, 2008, in conjunction with the Hidden Falls Hatchery opening and remain open through September 30, 2008.  Alaska Department of Fish and Game will open a portion of the lower District 2 seine fishery along with the Kendrick Bay special harvest area.  Fishing time for the District 2 portion will be determined in mid-June.
