   Aquaculture Studies

  The McDowell Group was selected in 2001 to research and prepare a study identifying Southern Southeast Regional Aquaculture Association's economic impacts to the Southern Southeast Alaska region.  The study concentrated on four primary subject:  commercial harvest, sport harvest, seafood processing and local impacts to Ketchikan, Wrangell, Petersburg and Prince of Wales Island.

  The purpose of this study is to present the economic impacts of Private Non-Profit Aquaculture Associations (PNP's) in Southeast Alaska including commercial and sport harvests, seafood processing and PNP operations.
