Chum troll at Neets Bay is off to a slow start. We have not seen many Neets Bay chum caught in the 101 or 102 fishery, but some have shown up in 106. Effort is sporadic, with anywhere from 0 to 20 boats trolling in the bay. Net rotations ended on June 6th and Cost Recovery efforts will begin shortly. The average weight of troll caught chum was 13.8 pounds last week and 14.4 pounds this week, with a majority of the fish being 4 year olds.
