The Southern Southeast Regional Aquaculture Association (SSRAA) has an opening for
an Assistant Facilities Engineer with the Facilities and Infrastructure Department. This
department is based in Ketchikan, AK and serves all SSRAA.

SSRAA operates seven hatcheries and several remote release sites within southern
Southeast Alaska. This position requires travel by boat and small aircraft and is
responsible for assisting the facilities engineer with supervising, planning, coordinating,
and completing facility and infrastructure projects using company staff, temporary labor
or private contractors. Must be able to demonstrate a successful work history with
exposure to multiple trades to include plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry.

The ideal candidate must have the ability to develop healthy working relationships with
vendors, contractors, co-workers, other SSRAA departments, and have the willingness to
share knowledge and skills. The ability to obtain an Alaska Driver’s License is required
and all applicants will undergo a background check.

Starting salary range is $75,213.78 to $86,297.54/year DOE, plus benefits. SSRAA is an
